More often than you can imagine we are asked to do what other people say is not feasible.
Fortunately for our customers, we have some very specialized equipment.
When this equipment is teamed with our experienced technicians, the somewhat impossible projects become relatively easy.
One of the more interesting pieces of equipment we call upon would be our battery operated glass suction cups and boom truck.
In this project, the customer had a unique front entrance design that funnelled snow right onto the front step.
As you can imagine this was a less than ideal situation. The solution was to install some anodized aluminum framing between the two sides to support a large glass “skylight”.
The Glass is attached to the structure using a custom stainless steel bracket and bolt. This bracket actually bolts through the glass, and has a slight, unnoticeable slope, to drain water into the house’s elaborate gutter system.
The notches that can be seen in the corners of the glass are to allow room for these gutters.
Once set in place, this 10ft x 8ft piece of glass disappears enough to not be an eye sore, solves a dilemma, and also adds a little bit of elegance, the way only glass can.
If you have been told it can’t be done, you are talking to the wrong people.
Bring us your obstacle. There is a good chance we already have a solution.
